Second-year sociology
Jonathan Jupiter:
Independent
I’ve always wanted to be incorporated in the school’s decision making. You hear a lot of students saying that they don’t like this or that, but if you are actually among the student government – in this case, the YFS – I’d be representing all regular students.

Third-year criminology & political science
Jessica Thyriar:
Students First
I want to talk to students about what needs to be done. I want to put forth and basically build on the foundation the past LA&PS director and the president of the YFS built on so these goals can be accomplished in the future.

Third-year Schulich
Benzi Yeung:
Independent
I want to help brand the Schulich name and raise awareness about it across all other colleges. Even though we seem segregated [from the rest of campus], we’re still part of York campus.

Second-year Schulich
Jaspal Sangha:
Students First
I think it’s important to interact with as many students as possible. Over the next two weeks, I want to work hard and let them know I want to make a difference.
