Looking cool keeping warm

You can deny it all you want, but winter is here, folks.
With frigid weather awaiting you outside the door, start thinking about how to keep warm without looking like Santa Claus. While knit sweaters and a wool coat are no-brainers, they only cover so much! It’s important to keep your accessories in mind, as well.
Let’s start from the top: your head and neck get hit the hardest with chilly winds, so it’s important to keep them warm. Berets and cloche hats create a classic look, while trapper hats (for guys and girls) are trendy and seriously warm. If hats aren’t your thing, try a knit headband or a pair of earmuffs; a leopard-print on earmuffs keeps them looking chic.
To keep your neck warm, use everyone’s favourite accessory: the scarf. Lots of fashionable York students use scarves to add a pop of pattern or colour while protecting their necks from the frost. Popular right now is the circle scarf, a never-ending loop of fabric.
Next, your hands. While knit mittens are ideal for keeping warm, it’s hard to use your Blackberry when you have an inch of wool between your fingers and the keys. I like mittens with a flap so they can be converted into fingerless gloves at a moment’s notice.
Finally, we reach the legs. Jeans and sweatpants are easy to stick with all winter, but everyone needs some spice now and then! Wool tights keep legs toasty, and allow you to wear those pretty dresses and skirts all year long. Knee socks layered over tights add an extra layer of both heat and style. Regarding footwear, while over-the-knee boots are super trendy right now, you can easily recreate the look with your old tall boots and thigh high socks or leg warmers.
With Jack Frost nipping at our noses, keeping warm is a fashion challenge that we all have to deal with. But if all else fails, just put on a Snuggie and call it
a day.

The title isn’t grammatically correct. Also, this is primarily centered around females. A better article would have mentioned alternatives for guys, too.
