According to a security bulletin released on March 2, an attempted armed robbery occurred on February 28 in the area of 340 Assiniboine Road.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:10 p.m., when a community member was approached by three suspects. One suspect was armed with a handgun, and then demanded that the community member hand over any personal property they possessed.
The community member said “no” and told the suspects that he wouldn’t hand over his possessions. The suspects then fled the scene empty handed.
York Security was notified of the incident at approximately 11 p.m.
The three suspects are described as male, between the height of six feet and six feet two inches, wearing dark clothing and hoodies.
